Life Skills and Prevention

Interactive workshops, direct coaching, peer education, and school-based prevention support that help youth make informed decisions and build healthy habits.

Prevention by relationship

Healthy choices are easier when students have trusted support.

WELO's prevention education gives students practical tools to resist peer pressure, understand substance-use risks, and build social-emotional skills. The work includes individual coaching, classroom education, small groups, schoolwide assemblies, and parent or educator workshops.

Rather than treating prevention as a one-time warning, WELO creates recurring spaces where youth can talk honestly, practice coping skills, and connect health to identity, leadership, and community.
